So we went to the Zoo this weekend...not exactly what I had hoped for in regards to how Mitchell liked it. I guess maybe he is still too young. We got him a leash to walk around with and sadly, he didnt enjoy that very much so he spent most of the time with Andrew in the stroller. The best part for him was the petting zoo and the water fountains that he got to play in. Cannon had a friend with her and they also enjoyed the fountains at the end, as well as feeding the Giraffes~~

Perhaps we will wait until he understands more to take him again..

I love the picture above...his favorite thing to do lately is boss around Bandit..he points at him a says "dun dun dun" which I interpret as down, down, down. I thought this picture was particularly funny because this was the only goat that remotely resembles the dog and he ran right up to it and started telling him what to do LOL!!!
So to update on our moving situation...it is looking more and more likely that St Louis will be our next stop. Seems that Matt has quite a supportive push to get the job that he applied for there. That will be GREAT!!! SNOW for XMAS!!! I will be so very excited, though I am told its nothing to get crazy about..I have always dreamed of a white xmas!! We are looking to have a busy next few months, Matt is getting ready to go to training and then hopefully a little R&R, then most probably a deployment..which also means that this is time in which our house will sell, we will have to pack and move somewhere else...because this is the way of the world.. It looks to be busy this summer. A trip home will be much needed and enjoyed since the boys are growing so big and Cannon will be 9!!!!
I still cant get used to this...i have to say I need to find a better way of posting pics to this thing. I see other blogs and they are so nicely done...I am not that blog savy though I guess.

Well I have been slacking on my blogging duties lately, so I need to update. We just recently went through the MOST awful stomach flu I have ever endured. All were swick with the exception of myself...thank god!! However, my babies had a rough rough time getting through it. For about 14 days we fought the nasties but were back to normal in time for the easter bunny to make his rounds.

Our house is still on the market and Easter weekend, we had our first showing. STRESSFUL!!!! The people liked it but unfortunately, I dont think we were their pick since we never heard from them again. It did give us an opportunity to take some very cute spring pictures of the family though!!

Christmas and the aftermath

The Kids all had a blast for Xmas!! Below is Mitchell discovering Santa gifts, Andrew all partied out, Cannon super duper excited...it was great!!

I am still working on my bloggin skills and getting better at it I guess. Christmas was pretty amazing this year. The kids went crazy and Santa was pretty darn good to all of them. Each one had their own special area with super cool toys. Cannon got so much littlest petshop things that she didnt know what to do with herself. Mitchell got all of his favorite things,,,cars, balls and a playhouse. Andrew, well he got some little things...shape sorters and elmo phones. It was a success to say the least. Dad was here to enjoy it all and we surprised him with a Continental gift certificate so that he can come back any time he wants to.
I was so very sad to see dad go home. It was like a vacation having him here. Matt and I actually got to sleep through the night for the first time in a LONG time. January is proving to be a hugely busy month for all of us. Theboys have their 14 month and 4 month check up and Cannon is busy as ever with school. Matt and I are both back in school with a vengeance. I am taking 2 classes and he is working on his Masters. He has been given he opportunity to be the DO at the squadron while she is out after having a baby. Stressful as it is, he is taking it all in and learning as much as he can.
Andrew is growing so fast, 4 months old, rolling over and sits in the jumper. He also loves yo gabba gabba as much as his brother. Mitchell is still not talking, but like to get down and dance whenever he can...check out the video below..

Love to all ~~~

sooooo Its Xmas Eve!! YAY! Cant wait to see the kids faces in the morning after Santa makes his stop at the Patton house! I love Xmas! Things have been moving along this month. My surgery went super well, still taking some time to recuperate but I am slowly but surely getting there. There is more and more excitement every day with all the clothes that I couldnt wear anymore, and now I can :) Dad and Mitchell are forming a very good bond. They seem to have a really good time together. Though he tends to favor the tiny ones. He has been such a wonderful help through all of this and is really thinking of retiring now. As you can see....

Andrew is quite comfortable in his Poppi's arms :) I am going to be soooo sad when he goes home. We have gotten him a continental gift card though, so he can come back whenever he wants to;)

Gran sent the kids their Xmas PJ's. A must for every Xmas if you ask me. They are sooooo adorable. Made for a beautiful picture of my beautiful kiddos. Cannon is getting so big and amazes me everyday. She is going to be a heartbreaker one day for sure.

Another great pic below, the boys and Matt. I must agree they are some good lookin men

Our other problem, Mitchell and his fascination with the tree. He just cant help himself when it comes to ornaments. We hope that everyone has a safe and Merry Christmas. Wish we could be home with the whole family but we re going to make the best of tomorrow. :)

So Poppi made it to Fl. Just in time for my surgery. This week has been so busy trying to get ready for it. Thank god he was able to take the time off to help out. He of course was amazed at how much the boys had changed in just a few months. Tues came and my surgery went well. Now on the road to recovery. Its been wonderful having Dad here and he is enjoying spending time with the boys.
He and Mitchell have defiantely started to bond and Andrew, well lets just say he is more spoiled than ever. Cannon has her very first soccer game of the season tomorrow. She is ready to go and kick some booty on the field. Its also Matts first game as a coach. Unfortunately its an 8 am game after the squadron xmas party. TTFN!!
